Quaking Canopy El Dorado

El Dorado came to us by chance through a goat Facebook group member’s post asking for help rehoming their herd. We packed up our CR-V and drove the 2 hours to pick up our charming boy without a second thought. After 6 months of careful nutritional therapy, deworming, and debugging, we now have the healthy big boy you see today! We still cannot believe that this once 60# buck is now 116# of pure gold glory!

In February of 2025, El Dorado underwent careful nutritional therapy and was not used for breeding until he had fully recovered from his previous living conditions. His earliest photos were by no means representative of the now sweet and shy buck we have come to know since he arrived at our farm. Although he thoroughly enjoyed his resting and receiving the care he so desperately needed, he is far happier now that he’s doing what bucks do best, being chaotic good boys!
